This is a picture of my necklace that I took by using three point lighting. This was assigned as an introduction to the packaging project because you have to take a picture of your packaging by using three point lighting. Plus, taking pictures to make your product look good is extremely important when it comes to marketing your product. 
The following is my three point lighting quiz that was assigned after I review the powerpoint that was uploaded on moodle.
3 Point Lighting Quiz
1.) Describe what the Key or Main Light does.
– The key or main light is the strongest/brightest light and it lights up the subject the most. The light on one side is well lit and it makes a shadow on the other side.
2.) Describe what the Fill light is used for.
– The fill light is used to fill the shadows on the object by the key light.
3.) Describe what the back light is used for.
– The back light is used to light the subject from the rear to show definition and highlights around the outlines of the subject.
4.) Give 3 Safety Tips when working with lighting in the studio.
– Keep bystanders away from the lights to prevent them from knocking lights over.
– Must be super careful when touching light bulbs to remove them or for whatever reason because light bulbs can be really hot from the amount of heat they produce from the light. Wait until the light is cooled down and off.
– Make sure all lights have good ventilation and never cover them.
